Welcome to 5-Ardoline's Discovery journey!
As part of our first social studies unit, we are taking part in a colonization simulation. Each group has selected a name, decided upon a reason for colonizing, designed a flag to symbolize their priorities, and elected leaders. After this, groups set sail and will (hopefully) land and establish a new colony. Once in their area, the students will need to farm, hunt, and fish to provide food for their settlement. They will also have to learn how to live alongside the natives and other organized colonies, and if necessary, defend themselves.

Rules for blogging:
1. Be sure to use only your first name and last initial whenever you make an entry.
2. Be sure the content of your entry is appropriate - meaning you would want your parents, teachers, and principal to read it.
3. Any unidentified posts along with inappropriate material will be deleted, and you will not be able to contribute to the site anymore.
