Welcome to the Mighty Dancing Leprechauns!
Meet The Mighty Dancing Leprechauns:
Our governor is Paul. He is responsible for leading our colony and making final decisions. Our banker, who is in charge of all of our money, is Jenna. Another important job is our recorder, who is Claire. This person must keep track of everything we do! Our trader, Alex, has good negotiating skills to deal with the natives and other colonies. Lastly, our mapper is the one who keeps track of our land (how much it is worth, who is in the area). This is Nick. Together, we are The Mighty Dancing Leprechauns!
Why Did We Colonize:
Our group decided to go to the New World in order tocolonize this area. We have been sponsored by our government who wants to increase their power and wealth by adding new land. They have given us initial supplies and will send us two shipments of supplies during our adventure. At the conclusion, we must give the government half of our land and one quarter of our food wealth.
What We Stand For:
On our flag we have five shamrocks because there are five of us, and we are the Mighty Dancing Leprechauns. We have dark green on our flag since we are all Irish. We also have light green because light green is on the real Irish flag. We have black stripes because some people want to fight. That is what our flag is about.
Our Ships' Names and Cargo:
Our first ship is named PINKIE PONY and carries 2 men, 2 women, and 2 children. We have 1 pony and 5 farm animals on this ship. It also has 2 guns for hunting and 300 units of food. Our second ship is called MAN HOOD and has 5 men, 3 women, and 3 children. On the ship, there is also 1 horse, 2 farm animals, 3 guns and 300 units of food . Our third and final ship is BIG DADDY which has 4 men, 5 women, and 10 children. Also, 2 horses, 4 guns, and 300 units of food are on the ship.
Our Colonization Journal
10/08/07 -After two and a half months, we landed in Irrock territory. We lost three men. We think they are dead. Along with that we might not have enough food. The good news is we are near a river. The rest of the settling is going to go well - we'll make sure of it.
10/16/07 - We had a smooth round with no major changes. We did lose three men and a boat because they didn't see a storm coming their way when they were fishing. Each farmer got twenty five units of food. Then nice Indians helped us.
