Welcome to The Swimming Pizza-Eating Penguins!

Meet The Swimming Pizza-Eating Penguins:
Our governor is Kevin, and our vice-governor is Joel. They are responsible for leading our colony and making final decisions. Our banker, who is in charge of all of our money is Seul. Another important job is our recorder, Amy. This person must keep track of everything we do! Our trader, Eddie, has good negotiating skills to deal with the natives and other colonies. Lastly, our mapper is the one who keeps track of our land (how much it is worth, who is in the area). This is Yovahn. Together, we are The Swimming Pizza Eating Penguins!
Why Did We Colonize:
Our group decided to go to the New World in order to colonize this new area and gain wealth and power. We have been sponsored by a private company which has given us initial supplies and will send us a shipment mid-way through our adventure. At the conclusion, we must pay the company one quarter of our wealth.
What We Stand For:
We put red on our flag because we are courageous. Our choice for white was because we are peaceful. Blue represents freedom, and as penguins, we are free. We believe in justice to keep things fair, and the sun to keep us warm. As penguins our black represents our strength to not be defeated. We put a penguin because our group’s name is The Swimming Pizza Eating Penguins, and he is swimming under water.
Our Ships' Names and Cargo:
Our first ship is named Black Pearl and carries 15 men, 15 women, and five children. We have four horses and ten farm animals on this ship. It also has ten guns for hunting and 300 units of food. Our second ship is called The Comoto Dragon and has ten men, ten women, and ten children. The other items are the same. Our third and final ship is the Flying Dutchman and has 20 men, ten women, and no children. All other cargo is the same.
Our Colonization Journal
01/09/08 - We are all packed and ready to go. We are all very nervous and sad because we are leaving our families behind. We may not even ever see them again! Oh, I really hope that we see them again, and after a long, lonely journey, we find land! We started to pack the ship up and it was extremely cramped in. I could barely move from one room to another room. This is going to be a long journey! Bye for now!
01/23/08- So far for sailing has been going great. We only have 200 miles left to go. We cannot wait until we find land. Everything is going great. The only thing that is going wrong is that we are going low on food.
A couple hours later- Two hours ago, we saw The Jollie Rancher Feaphs`s ship, The Flyer sinking. We heard horrible screams and cries. We are worried if our ships will do the same.
3 1/2 days later- We have finally landed! All of our ships made it to the land, and no one died. All of our hard work really paid off!
1/25/08 - Once we got near the land, we sent five men out to look at it. They never came back and they are presumed their dead. It was sad to know about the five men dying, and we never forgot about those brave men. Now that we have landed we have seen the Seques, so we are to be careful.
We are having some problems. We have lice, biting fleas, and pesky mosquitoes. We only produced 12 units of food. Our hunting is excellent. Each hunter returned with eight units of food.
